Personal Protective Equipment

Held: September 21, 2012

Duration: 47 minutes of presentation and questions & answers

Take the complication out of compliance with Personal Protective Equipment.

Personal Protective Equipment is a basic function of any safety program, but it is often the only line of defense between a hazard and catastrophe.

Employers, safety managers, department heads, and line supervisors are responsible for providing a safe working environment for all employees. To do this, workplace hazards must be identified and eliminated. If they cannot be eliminated, a barrier between the hazard and the employee must be created. Sometimes the only barrier is Personal Protective Equipment.

It's not enough to simply make a few safety glasses, goggles or face shields available. It's about management and knowing the risks your employees are taking. It's about assessing the hazards and making sure everyone knows how to avoid taking risks.

This webinar covers the necessary steps for identifying workplace hazards and performing a hazard assessment to recognize and deal with these hazards. Discover how to identify the types of PPE necessary and how to make sure employees are aware of the risks and how to avoid them.

We offer a clear, step-by-step approach to managing the PPE program and the tools necessary to create a safe work environment and compliant program.
