Food Defense Coordinator Online

AIB knows the food industry. This online course will help your company improve existing policies and procedures and meet new demands. Based on our seminar offered at several regional locations, this course trains a team leader to oversee the security and protection of products, facilities and employees.

What is a Food Defense Coordinator?
Food defense coordinators are responsible for the oversight of an organization's security plans and operations.

What will you obtain from this course?
You will understand your role and your company's responsibility to protect the food industry from intentional tampering. You will learn about:

At the conclusion of this course, students take a final exam. Students receiving a passing score of 80% or above will be recognized as Certified Food Defense Coordinators. A document of completion, special seal and wallet card will be issued.

Each section is followed by a self-check quiz to test your understanding. Students will be shipped a complimentary copy of our book The AIB Guide to Food Defense (shipping and handling charges do apply.) This book as well as the online material are required reading for successful completion of this course. Other online features include short Flash Player presentations introducing each topic and helpful Vulnerability Assessment checklists.

Enrollments are accepted at any time. There are no fixed starting dates. Once you have enrolled you are given 60 days to complete the course. Upon successful completion of this course the student will be awarded 1.8 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Enrollment requires a valid individual email address. Prepayment of this course is required.
